Welcome to the world of „Generation Boomer,“ a Pop-Punk band born in the late summer of 2023. Our name is a nod to the late 90s and early 2000s Pop-Punk explosion that left an indelible mark on our music and our hearts.
The inspiration for our name, „Boomer,“ comes from a character played by Tom DeLonge in the iconic music video for „First Date“ by the legendary band „blink-182.“ It’s a reminder of the era that ignited our passion for this genre.
At the core of Generation Boomer, you’ll find two dedicated members: Matthias Herrmann, residing in Celle, and Andre Wenderoth, hailing from Kassel. Our musical journey began years ago when we rocked stages together in the renowned band „4 Idiots.“ Today, as Generation Boomer, we continue to create the music we love.
Our live performances feature a dynamic element with a rotating member taking the drumming helm, adding a fresh twist to each show. We believe in keeping the energy high and the crowd engaged, just like our idols did back in the day.
Currently, we’re hard at work crafting our debut album, pouring our hearts and souls into every note and lyric. We can’t wait to share it with you, our amazing fans, and fellow Pop-Punk enthusiasts.
